These terms describe the basic rules for using AltSal as self-directed research software.
Self-Directed Use
AltSal provides portfolio modeling, strategy research, backtesting, and paper-tracking tools. You are responsible for your own investment and trading decisions.
No Advisory Relationship
Using AltSal does not create an investment advisory, brokerage, fiduciary, banking, or asset-management relationship with AltSal.
Accounts and Security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Plans and Access
Some research features may require a paid, trial, founder, or otherwise eligible plan. Plan availability and pricing may change before public launch.
Research Outputs
Backtests, payoff charts, campaign tracking, and simulated results are informational estimates. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or different from real market outcomes.
Local Broker Connector
Live broker integration is intended only for local or desktop use controlled by the account owner. Public cloud mode does not place live broker orders.
No Warranty
AltSal is provided as-is without warranties of performance, availability, suitability, profitability, or error-free operation.
